Compliance Analyst

Previous experience within the financial services sector is highly advantageous, although training will be given.

Specific Role Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel packages essential
  • Experience using financial-based CRM systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in writing, via telephone and face to face
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills
  • Strong and resilient personality with a high sense of integrity and independence
  • Good team player with positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Ability to use own initiative
  • Able to maintain confidentiality at all times and to handle sensitive matters
  • Flexible and adaptable attitude, willing to learn
  • Smart, professional appearance

Knowledge and Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in a regulated financial services provider, legal or accountancy firm 
  • Understanding the MiFID framework advantageous, but not essential 
  • Good presence and speaking skills, able to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels within a global team
  • Open to taking on responsibilities and actively seeking avenues for professional growth within the compliance department

Duties to include but not limited to: 

  • Client account and maintenance in accordance with procedures and regulations via our CRM system
  • Assisting with AML checks
  • Conduct regular assessments of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor compliance-related initiatives
  • Stay up to date on changes in laws and regulations, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct internal audits to identify and address potential compliance issues
  • Investigate and respond to compliance-related inquiries from regulatory authorities
  • Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with other management teams to mitigate compliance risks

Additional Information:

  • Permanent, full-time role
  • New office close to Grand Canal Dock, Dublin
  • Hours of work: 9am – 5pm, with half hour lunch
  • Full training and on-going support – remotely and in-person
  • Competitive salary €24,000 – €28,000 dependent on experience, including a matched pension contribution and corporate dental scheme on completion of a probationary period
  • Excellent career prospects – The opportunity to complete a European recognised compliance qualification
